A natural approach to health and wellbeing

Acupuncture is a gentle therapeutic treatment that involves the insertion of very fine, single-use sterile needles into specific points on the body. It has been used for thousands of years to encourage the body's natural healing response, restore balance, and promote overall wellbeing.

How does acupuncture work?

Rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture views health as a reflection of the smooth and harmonious flow of Qi (pronounced "chee"), the body's vital energy. When this flow becomes disrupted or unbalanced, symptoms such as pain, stress, fatigue, or illness may develop. Acupuncture helps restore this balance, supporting the body's natural ability to regulate and heal itself.

Modern research suggests that acupuncture may stimulate the nervous system, encourage the release of the body's natural pain-relieving chemicals such as endorphins, improve circulation, and influence areas of the brain involved in pain perception and regulation.

Conditions I commonly support

At Yinspire Therapy, every treatment is tailored to the individual. I have a particular interest in supporting:

  • Women's health, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and menopause

  • Neck, shoulder and back pain

  • Sciatica and frozen shoulder

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Stress, anxiety and sleep problems

  • Digestive concerns

  • General health and wellbeing

Treating the root cause

Rather than simply treating symptoms, acupuncture aims to identify and address the underlying pattern of imbalance. The goal is to help your body return to a state of balance, resilience, and lasting health—so you can feel your best, naturally.
