What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the practice of inserting hair fine, single use, sterile needles into the skin to stimulate acu-points or the local area of muscle for therapeutic purposes.
Acupuncture has been used in China and the far East for thousands years, the acupuncture instruments and needling techniques and have been refined through centuries of practice.
Acupuncture is known to stimulate the release of natural substances, such as endorphins-natural painkillers and may boost blood flow and change brain activity. In traditional Chinese medicine, we believe that Qi does not flow freely through the body can cause illness. Acupuncture is a way to restore the flow of Qi, and to balance the disharmony of energies.
